What's Anthro?

A common question we get, “What does Anthro mean?”

Well, the technical answer is it is a root word derived from the Greek word, Anthropos, meaning man or human.

Our answer takes it a little further. As followers of Christ, we believe that God created man and in creating us, He created us in His image, as unique individuals, all created on purpose for a purpose. So two things naturally come from this: one, humans made in His image, have a creative element within them, and reflect His image when creating things. Two, a body of believers, all different and unique, will create a church that is different and unique; therefore, all churches are just as unique as the individual believers within them.

A body that is different and unique needs to be loved and cherished, not squandered or diminished. The makeup of your church consists of exactly the right people and exactly the right uniqueness. As an agency we strive to discover this uniqueness and present it as a strength of your church, the way we believe God intended it to be.

So the simple answer is this:

We see creating and designing as a form of reflecting our Creator. In this we hope to do two things, accurately represent and reflect the unique body of believers of every church we partner with, and most importantly, glorify God through the gifts he has given us.
