Unseen Logo Costs
Do you think it’s time for a new logo?
Debating whether the money spent will be worth it? We want to provide you with some things to think about when considering a new logo.
Your logo is used all over the place
The worst part is often times you don’t realize just how much that pesky logo is used and how expensive the materials are that it is used on! Whatever happy and excited feeling you had after receiving the beautiful new logo can be quickly replaced by a dark pit of despair. So this post is to help you think through the areas that your logos are found!
When it comes to implementing a new logo, the old has to be removed, which is perhaps the obvious portion of this. However, even if it doesn’t have your logo on it, it all may be consistent from a design standpoint: fonts, colors, and elements from the logo, most likely will be everywhere!
Below is a list of some of the more common areas or places that you will find your logo. We hope this list helps you have a better understanding of the financial requirements on top of the costs to design the logo.
Let’s start with the signs
Classroom labels/room numbers
Internal directional signs
Street Signs
That big sign out front
Directional signage into the church
Parking Lot
Visitor parking signs (If you do not have visitor parking, change that quickly, all part of leaving an awesome first impression.)
Welcome signs
Directional signs
On building signage
Everything Else
Church Van or Bus
Business Cards
Emails (mainly the signature at the end)
Church hoodies/t-shirts/hats
Fancy pens
This isn’t meant to be a conclusive lists with every possible area that your logo could be. It’s purpose is meant to jog your memory, get you thinking, or set you off on an intentional mission to search out your logo wherever it may be.
p.s. This list could also be useful if you are considering a name change of your church.
